Public Transport

To reach Bambili Waterfall from Bamenda, locate the main bus station and take a bus heading towards Bambili. Buses typically depart frequently, with a journey time of approximately 30-40 minutes. Once in Bambili, ask to be dropped off near the main junction. From there, you can walk or take a motorbike taxi to the waterfall; the final part of the journey may require a short trek, so wear comfortable shoes. Bus fare is around 500-700 CFA. A motorcycle taxi from the junction to the waterfall will cost approximately 100-200 CFA.

From anywhere in Bamenda, find a motorbike taxi stand and tell the driver you want to go to Bambili Waterfall. The most direct route is along the Bamenda-Bambili Road. The ride should take about 25-30 minutes depending on traffic. Negotiate the fare before the ride. Expect to pay around 500-1000 CFA.

Walking

From the city center of Bamenda, head towards the Bamenda-Bambili Road and walk in the direction of Bambili, approximately 11 km away. You'll pass local shops and markets along the way. After about 2 km, you'll reach the suburb of Nkwen, continue straight until you see signs for Bambili. Be aware that the road may get steep as you approach Bambili. Once in Bambili follow local signs or ask locals for directions to the waterfall.
