Getting There

• Walking

  From the central area of Tiko, start at the main market (Marché de Tiko). Head south on Rue de la République towards the main road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Avenue de l’Indépendance. Turn left onto Avenue de l’Indépendance and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass local shops and small eateries on your left and right. Keep an eye out for the sign that indicates you are approaching Douala. As you near the outskirts of Tiko, you will begin to see signs for Douala. Continue straight until you reach the border between Tiko and Douala. Once in Douala, follow the signs to the specific address at 3Q29+C4H.

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Tiko. Start at the main market (Marché de Tiko) and head south towards Avenue de l’Indépendance. Follow Avenue de l’Indépendance for about 1.5 kilometers. Make sure to keep to the bike lane where available, and watch for traffic as you ride. Once you reach the junction with the road leading to Douala, continue following the road signs to Douala. Your destination at 3Q29+C4H will be on your right as you enter the city.

  To use a motorbike taxi (locally known as 'benso'), head to the nearest motorbike taxi stand from your location in Tiko, which is usually found near the main market (Marché de Tiko). Negotiate the fare with the driver before getting on. Tell the driver you want to go to Douala, specifically to the address 3Q29+C4H. The ride should take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off as close to the address as possible, so be prepared to walk a short distance if needed.
