Getting There

• Car

  From any point in Fundy National Park, head southeast on the main park road (Route 114) until you reach the junction with Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 and continue for approximately 35 kilometers. Follow the signs for Truro, and then take exit 14 to merge onto Nova Scotia Route 102 toward Halifax. Continue on Route 102 for about 18 kilometers, then take exit 12 for Route 14 toward Elmsdale. After approximately 10 kilometers, turn left onto Faulkner Lane. Burntcoat Head Park will be on your left at 45 Faulkner Ln, Noel, NS B0N 2C0.

• Public Transportation

  While there is no direct public transportation to Burntcoat Head Park from Fundy National Park, you can take a bus from Fundy to the nearest town, which is Truro. Use Maritime Bus services (check their schedule for the latest times) to reach Truro. From Truro, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to cover the remaining distance of approximately 30 kilometers to Burntcoat Head Park. Be sure to check the availability of taxis in advance as they may not be readily available.

• Bicycle

  For the adventurous, you can cycle from Fundy National Park to Burntcoat Head Park. Take Route 114 toward Route 1, then follow the same directions as for cars. Make sure your bike is in good condition and that you have all necessary safety gear. The distance is about 55 kilometers, so be prepared for a day of cycling. Remember to check the weather and bring plenty of water and snacks.
