If you are traveling by car within Gulf Islands National Park Reserve, start by heading to the nearest ferry terminal. If you are on Salt Spring Island, take the BC Ferries from Salt Spring to Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island. Once on Vancouver Island, drive north on Highway 1 (Trans-Canada Highway) for approximately 30 km until you reach the exit for Highway 19 North. Merge onto Highway 19 North and continue driving for about 35 km until you reach the exit for Highway 1 towards Nanaimo. Follow Highway 1 for about 15 km and take the exit for Highway 4 towards Port Alberni. After driving for another 50 km, follow signs to Tyne Valley. Once in Tyne Valley, navigate to 5627 PE-12, where Green Gable Alpacas is located.
