Getting There

  • Walking

    From Quinpool Road, head south towards the Halifax Common. You can enter the Common and walk through it, enjoying the green space. Continue walking south until you reach South Park Street. Turn right onto South Park Street and keep walking until you reach Spring Garden Road. Turn left onto Spring Garden Road and continue straight until you reach the waterfront area. At the waterfront, look for the signs directing you to Lower Water Street. Walk along Lower Water Street, and you will see the Discovery Centre at 1215 Lower Water St, Halifax, NS B3J 3S8.

    From Quinpool Road, you can catch the Metro Transit bus number 1 or 7 at a nearby bus stop. Board the bus heading towards the downtown area.
