If you are driving from anywhere in Montérégie, take Autoroute 20 (Trans-Canada Highway) heading towards Montreal. Exit at Boulevard Monk and follow the signs for Rue Notre-Dame. Continue on Rue Notre-Dame until you reach the Lachine Canal area. There are several parking spots along the canal, but be mindful of parking regulations. Expect to pay a parking fee, which can vary by location.

Public Transportation (Bus and Metro)
Start by taking the bus from your location in Montérégie to the nearest Metro station. For example, if you are in Longueuil, take the 88 bus to the Longueuil-Université-de-Sherbrooke Metro station. From there, take the Metro Green Line towards Angrignon. Get off at the Lionel-Groulx station and transfer to the Orange Line. Continue on the Orange Line towards Côte-Vertu and get off at the Bonaventure station. From Bonaventure, it’s a short walk to the Lachine Canal. Ensure you have a valid transit pass, which costs approximately CAD 3.50.
