Getting There

  • Metro

    Start your journey by taking the Montreal Metro. Head to the nearest Metro station to where you are currently located and take the Green Line (Line 1) towards Angrignon. Get off at the Mont-Royal station. Once you exit the station, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes to reach Mount Royal Lookout.

  • Walking

    After exiting Mont-Royal Metro station, head east on Avenue du Mont-Royal E. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue Papineau. Turn right on Rue Papineau and continue until you reach Voie Camillien-Houde. Turn left and follow the road uphill. You will eventually reach the entrance to Mount Royal Park. Continue walking until you see signs for the Mount Royal Lookout.

    Alternatively, you can take the 11 bus from Mont-Royal Metro station. Board the bus heading towards 'Parc Mont-Royal' and disembark at the stop closest to the entrance of Mount Royal Park. From there, follow the signs leading to Mount Royal Lookout which is a short walk up the hill.

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a BIXI bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations in the city. Head towards Avenue du Mont-Royal E and follow the road that leads into Mount Royal Park. There are bike paths leading up to the Mount Royal Lookout.
