If you are in downtown Toronto, make your way to the nearest subway station. For example, if you are at Union Station, take the Line 1 (Yonge-University) subway northbound towards Vaughan Metropolitan Centre. Transfer at King Station to Line 1 and continue to St. Andrew Station. From St. Andrew Station, exit the subway and walk west on King Street until you reach Bathurst Street. Here, you will transfer to the 511 Bathurst streetcar. Ride the streetcar for several stops until you reach the stop at Queen Street West.
