Public Transit
From downtown Toronto, you can take the TTC subway. Board the Line 1 (Yonge-University) subway at any downtown station heading south. Get off at Union Station. Follow the signs to the PATH (the underground pedestrian walkway) and head towards the ferry terminal. Once you exit the PATH, follow the signs for the 'Toronto Islands Ferry' which will lead you to the Centre Island Ferry Dock. The walk from Union Station to the ferry dock takes approximately 10-15 minutes.

If you are in the Harbourfront area, you can walk directly to the Centre Island Ferry Dock. Head south along Queens Quay West, and you will see signs directing you to the ferry terminal. The walk is scenic and will take approximately 15-20 minutes. As you walk, you'll enjoy views of Lake Ontario and the city skyline.

Streetcar
You can also take the TTC streetcar to get to the ferry dock. Board the 509 Harbourfront streetcar at any designated stop along the route. Stay on the streetcar until you reach the 'Ferry Docks' stop. From there, it's a short walk to the Centre Island Ferry Dock. Look for signs directing you to the ferry terminal. The entire journey should take about 20-30 minutes depending on the waiting time for the streetcar.
