Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting at the corner of Main Street and Assiniboine Avenue, head south on Main Street for about two blocks until you reach the intersection with Portage Avenue. Turn left onto Portage Avenue and walk for one block. At the next intersection, turn right onto Albert Street. Continue walking straight for about three blocks, and you will see the Telegram Building on your left at 70 Albert St.

  From any location in the Exchange District, locate the nearest bus stop. You can catch Bus Route 11 or Route 19 heading south. Get off at the stop at Portage Avenue and Albert Street. From there, walk one block south on Albert Street, and you will arrive at the Telegram Building located at 70 Albert St. Please check local schedules for bus timings; a single trip on Winnipeg Transit costs approximately CAD 3.00.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, you can take advantage of the bike lanes in the Exchange District. Start at the Forks and make your way north on the Assiniboine Riverwalk until you reach the junction with Main Street. From there, head west on Portage Avenue and then turn right onto Albert Street. The Telegram Building will be on your left at 70 Albert St. Make sure to follow all bike safety regulations and check for bike racks at your destination.
