TransMilenio
To reach Parque Las Mercedes using the TransMilenio, start by finding the nearest TransMilenio station. If you are in the La Candelaria area, walk to the 'Museo del Oro' station. From there, board a bus heading towards 'Héroes' and get off at the 'Calle 72' station. Once you exit the station, walk east on Calle 72 towards Avenida 7. Turn right on Avenida 7 and walk south until you reach Calle 63. Turn left on Calle 63, and you will see Parque Las Mercedes ahead.
Bus
If you prefer to take a regular bus, locate a bus stop near you. Look for buses that have 'Chapinero' as a destination. A good option is to take a bus from the 'Centro' area. Board a bus on Carrera 10 or Carrera 7. Ask the driver to let you know when to get off at the 'Parque Las Mercedes' stop, which is a short walk from the park. Once you get off, head east on Calle 63 and you’ll find the entrance to the park.
Walking
If you are staying in the El Chicó or Chapinero area, you can walk to Parque Las Mercedes. From the El Chicó park, head south on Carrera 7 until you reach Calle 63. Turn left on Calle 63, and continue walking until you see Parque Las Mercedes on your right. It’s a pleasant walk through the neighborhood with plenty of shops and cafes along the way.
Bicycle
If you are comfortable riding a bicycle, Bogotá has a network of bike lanes. You can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing services available. Start by finding a bike station near you. From there, cycle towards El Chicó, then head south on Carrera 7. When you reach Calle 63, turn left and continue until you arrive at Parque Las Mercedes. There are bike racks available at the park for you to lock up your bicycle.
