Getting There

• Bus

  From your location in Bogotá, head to the nearest TransMilenio station. Take the TransMilenio line towards 'Portal del Norte' and get off at the 'Usaquén' station. From there, you will need to transfer to a local bus. Look for a bus marked 'Choachí' or 'La Chorrera' which will take you directly to Choachí. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Choachí, you can ask locals for directions to Waterfall The Chiflón, which is a popular tourist destination.

• Metro + Bus

  Start by taking the Bogotá Metro to the 'Niza Norte' station. From there, exit the metro and walk to the nearby bus stop. Catch a bus heading towards 'Choachí'. The bus will take you to the town of Choachí, which is close to Waterfall The Chiflón. The journey may take around 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Choachí, ask for directions to the waterfall; it is a well-known local attraction.

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to cycle, you can rent a bicycle in Bogotá. Start your journey heading east towards the town of Choachí.
