Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Guatapé, head southwest on Calle 30 towards Avenida 30. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the junction with the main road (Ruta 60). Turn left onto Ruta 60 and follow it for approximately 30 kilometers. You will pass through the town of El Peñol. Keep an eye out for signs pointing to Rionegro. After about 15 kilometers on Ruta 60, take a right turn onto Cra. 52 and follow it until you reach the address Cra. 52 #18a-46 #18a-2 a, Rionegro, Antioquia. The park will be on your left. Ensure your GPS is set to navigate to the exact coordinates: 6.1262268, -75.3775392.

• Public Transportation

  From Guatapé, you can catch a bus to Rionegro. The bus terminal is located near the main square in Guatapé. Look for buses that are heading to Rionegro or Medellín, as they often stop in Rionegro along the way. The bus fare is approximately 10,000 COP (Colombian Pesos). The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Rionegro, you can either take a taxi or continue on foot. If you opt for a taxi, inform the driver to take you to Cra. 52 #18a-46 #18a-2 a, Rionegro, Antioquia, which should cost around 10,000-15,000 COP. If walking, head north on Cra. 50, then turn left onto Cra. 52 and proceed until you see the park.
