Getting There

  • Metro

    Start your journey by taking the Medellín Metro. Board the train at the nearest station to your location. Make sure to take the Line A (the 'blue line') in the direction of 'Niquía'. Ride the train until you reach the 'San Antonio' station. At 'San Antonio', transfer to Line B (the 'green line') towards 'San Javier'. Get off at the 'Catedral' station.

  • Walking

    Once you exit the 'Catedral' station, head southeast on Calle 50 towards the main square, Parque de las Luces. Continue walking straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the Plaza de Botero. From here, take Calle 50. Walk along Calle 50 for approximately 7 minutes. The Basilica of Our Lady of Candelaria will be on your right at C. 50 #49 - 112.

  • Bus

    If you prefer to take a bus, from 'Catedral' station, exit and find the bus stop located nearby. Look for a bus headed towards 'La Candelaria'. Once on the bus, inform the driver of your destination, and they will let you know when to get off. The Basilica is located close to the bus stop.
