Getting There

  • Metro

    Start your journey by taking the Medellín Metro. Board the Line A (the green line) at any station heading towards 'Niquía'. You will need to get off at the 'San Antonio' station. This will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on your starting point.

    Once you arrive at 'San Antonio', transfer to Line B (the orange line) towards 'San Javier'. Travel for 3 stops and get off at 'Alpujarra'. This transfer will take around 5 minutes.

    After getting off at 'Alpujarra', exit the metro station and head towards the 'Parque de los Deseos'. From here, you can start walking towards Parque Natural Cerro El Volador. Head northwest on Calle 57 towards Carrera 52, then turn left onto Carrera 52. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Parque Natural Cerro El Volador. The walk will take you approximately 20-25 minutes.

    Alternatively, from 'San Antonio' station, you can also take a bus. Look for the bus stop near the metro station and take a bus marked 'Robledo' or 'La 80'. Get off at the stop near the entrance of Parque Natural Cerro El Volador. The bus ride will take around 15-20 minutes.
