Car
If you are driving, start from the main entrance of Tayrona National Natural Park, which is located on the main road leading to Santa Marta. Head south towards Santa Marta. After approximately 30 minutes, take the exit towards Santa Marta, and continue on Route 90. Follow the signs to Comuna 4. Once you reach Cra. 18, turn left, and you will find the Monumento a El Pibe Valderrama at Cra. 18 #16-54.

Public Transportation
To reach the Monumento a El Pibe Valderrama using public transportation, take a bus from the Tayrona National Park entrance to Santa Marta. The fare is usually around 8,000 COP. Once in Santa Marta, you can either take a taxi or a local bus to Comuna 4. If you opt for a taxi, it should cost about 10,000 COP. Provide the driver with the address: Cra. 18 #16-54. If you take a local bus, look for one that goes to Comuna 4 and ask the driver to drop you off near the monument.

Walking from a nearby bus stop
If you arrive in Santa Marta via public transportation, get off at the main bus terminal. From there, you can walk to the Monumento a El Pibe Valderrama. Head south on Calle 16 until you reach Cra. 18. Turn left on Cra. 18, and walk a few blocks. The monument will be on your right at Cra. 18 #16-54. The walk should take about 20 minutes.
