From the center of Alamosa, head east on Main Street (US-160 E). Continue for about half a mile until you reach the intersection with Lakewood Drive. Turn left onto Lakewood Drive. Continue walking for about 0.3 miles, and you will see Alamosa Riparian Park on your left at 400 Lakewood Dr.

To reach Alamosa Riparian Park via public transit, take the San Luis Valley Transit (SLVT) bus service. Board the bus at the Alamosa Transit Center. Take the route that goes towards the Alamosa Walmart, and request a stop at Lakewood Drive. Once you get off, walk approximately 0.2 miles north on Lakewood Drive, and you will find the entrance to Alamosa Riparian Park at 400 Lakewood Dr. Bus service is free.
