Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in downtown Pueblo, start at the Pueblo Riverwalk entrance located at the intersection of Union Avenue and 4th Street. From there, head south on Union Avenue, passing various shops and restaurants. Continue walking until you reach the Riverwalk itself, which is a scenic path along the river. Follow the pathway eastward. You will see signs directing you towards Gateway Park. Keep walking for about 15-20 minutes until you see the park entrance on your left, located near the intersection with Loma Avenue.

• Bicycling

  For those renting a bicycle, start at the Riverwalk entrance at Union Avenue and 4th Street. Ride south along Union Avenue, then take a left onto the Riverwalk path, which runs parallel to the river. Continue cycling eastward along the Riverwalk for approximately 1 mile. You will see Gateway Park on your left, marked by distinct signage. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes at a leisurely pace.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Gateway Park using public transportation, find the nearest Pueblo Transit bus stop. Take bus route 5, which runs through downtown Pueblo. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at the intersection of Riverwalk and 4th Street. From there, disembark and walk east along the Riverwalk pathway for about 10 minutes. Gateway Park will be on your left side, easily identifiable by its park signage.
