    If you are in downtown Pueblo, start at the Pueblo Riverwalk entrance at the intersection of Union Avenue and 4th Street. Head south on Union Avenue, passing shops and restaurants. Continue until you reach the Riverwalk, a scenic path along the river. Follow the pathway eastward; Gateway Park will be on your left, near the intersection with Loma Avenue.

    To reach Gateway Park via public transportation, find the nearest Pueblo Transit bus stop. Take bus route 5, which runs through downtown Pueblo. Ride the bus until the intersection of Riverwalk and 4th Street. Disembark and walk east along the Riverwalk pathway for about 10 minutes. Gateway Park will be on your left. A one-way fare is approximately $1.30.
