Driving
From I-91, take Exit 35B for Route 218 West (Cottage Grove Road). Follow Route 218 West until it intersects with Route 185. Turn onto Route 185 towards Simsbury. The entrance to Talcott Mountain State Park will be on the left, at the top of the hill. Parking is available at the Day Use Entrance. Parking is free, but can fill up quickly on weekends and holidays.

Walking
From the parking area , the Tower Trail begins near the park entrance. Follow the well-marked yellow-blazed trail for 1.25 miles uphill to reach Heublein Tower. The hike takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Be prepared for a steep incline at the beginning of the trail.
