Getting There

Bus
From Jaco Beach, walk to the Jaco Bus Station located on Calle 1, just a block from the beach. Look for the bus heading to Puntarenas. Purchase your ticket from the driver (approximately 500-700 CRC). The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Puntarenas, get off at the main bus terminal.

Once you arrive at the Puntarenas bus terminal, you can take a taxi to Caldera Park. Locate the taxi stand outside the terminal and inform the driver you want to go to Caldera Park (W7MG+MW2, Provincia de Puntarenas, Espíritu Santo). The taxi ride should take around 10-15 minutes and cost approximately 5,000-7,000 CRC.

Walking
If you prefer to walk from the Puntarenas bus terminal, exit the terminal and head southeast towards the main road (Avenida 7). Continue straight on Avenida 7 until you reach the intersection with Calle 1. Turn left on Calle 1 and follow it until you reach the coast. Continue walking along the beach towards the south for about 1.5 km, and you will arrive at Caldera Park.
