If you are in the center of Puerto Viejo, start on Main Street (Calle 225), heading south towards the beach. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Calle 219. Turn left onto Calle 219 and follow it as it curves a bit. You will see signs for Cacao Trails as you approach the outskirts of town. Keep walking for about 15-20 minutes, and you will arrive at Cacao Trails - Museo de Cacao, located in Punta Riel, Cahuita.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Puerto Viejo. Head south on Main Street (Calle 225) and turn left onto Calle 219 as you approach the beach. Continue riding straight for approximately 5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Cacao Trails, which will be on your right as you near Punta Riel in Cahuita.

Head to the bus stop located on Main Street (Calle 225) in Puerto Viejo. Look for a bus heading towards Cahuita. The journey will take about 15-20 minutes. Inform the bus driver that you want to get off at Punta Riel. Once you disembark, walk a short distance along the main road, and Cacao Trails - Museo de Cacao will be on your left.
