Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from any point within Marahoué National Park, head towards the coordinates MC27+3R (7.6501587, -5.5853814) using a GPS device or mapping app. The roads within the park may be unpaved and can be challenging, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Drive towards the central park area and look for signs indicating the Terrain ARM location. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as refueling options are limited.

• Public Transportation

  While public transportation options are limited within the national park, you can take a local taxi-brousse (shared minibus) from nearby towns to the outskirts of Marahoué National Park. From there, you may need to hire a local guide or a taxi to reach Terrain ARM. Confirm the price before starting your journey, as fares can vary. Ensure to have cash available for the fare, and arrange for return transportation beforehand, as services are infrequent.

• Walking

  Once you are close to the Terrain ARM location, if you prefer to walk, be prepared for a short trek. From the nearest drop-off point (which can be reached by car or taxi-brousse), follow the dirt paths towards the coordinates MC27+3R.
