    The Dominican Monastery is located within Dubrovnik's Old Town, which is a pedestrian zone. From Pile Gate, the main entrance to the Old Town, walk along Stradun (the main street) towards Luža Square. Turn right onto Ul. Svetog Dominika. The monastery is located at Ul. Svetog Dominika 4, on your left. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes.

    If arriving by bus to Dubrovnik's main bus station, transfer to a local bus (lines 1, 1A, or 3) to the Old Town. Get off at the Pile Gate bus stop. From there, walk along Stradun towards Luža Square and turn right onto Ul. Svetog Dominika. The monastery is a short walk away. A one-way bus ticket costs €1.73 if purchased at a kiosk or €1.99 if purchased on the bus.

  • Taxi

    Taxis can drop passengers off at Pile Gate or Ploče Gate, as the Old Town is a car-free zone. From Pile Gate, walk along Stradun towards Luža Square and turn right onto Ul. Svetog Dominika. The monastery is a short walk away. A taxi from Pile Gate to Lapad costs from 80 Kuna (10 Euro approx). The initial taxi flat charge is 30 Kuna plus 9 Kuna per additional kilometre.
