Getting There

    From the Riva promenade, head towards the Diocletian's Palace. Enter through the main entrance, the Golden Gate (Zlatna vrata). Once inside, walk straight until you reach the Peristyle. From the Peristyle, take the path leading to the north side of the palace. You will find the Iron Gate (Ispod ure) just a short walk away, on your left side. Look for the distinctive archway that marks the entrance.

    If you're near the main bus station in Split, take bus number 17 towards 'Split - Gripe'. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'Domovinskog rata' stop. From there, walk straight down the road towards the city center. Continue walking until you reach the main square of the Diocletian's Palace. The Iron Gate is located just north of the Peristyle area. Look for a narrow street leading to the left where the Iron Gate is situated.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a taxi, simply find a nearby taxi stand or use a ride-hailing app. Provide the driver the address 'Ul. Ispod ure, 21000, Split'. The ride should take around 5 to 10 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, the Iron Gate will be directly in front of you as you exit the taxi.
