Walking
From the Old Town area, start at the iconic Diocletian's Palace. Exit the palace through the Silver Gate (Srebrna vrata) and head towards the waterfront promenade, known as Riva. Once you reach the promenade, turn left and walk along the beautiful waterfront. Continue walking for about 10-15 minutes, enjoying the views of the harbor and the nearby islands. You will eventually reach the path leading up to the Split viewpoint (belvedere) located at Šetalište Luke Botića. Look for signs indicating 'Marjan Park' as you approach the entrance to the park.
Walking
After you enter Marjan Park, follow the signs for the viewpoint. The path will be a gentle incline, and it will take you through lush greenery and beautiful nature. The route is well-marked, and you will pass by several benches and resting spots along the way. The entire walk from the Old Town to the viewpoint should take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace. Don’t forget to bring water and wear comfortable shoes for the hike.
