Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the Zadar Ferry Terminal, exit the terminal and head east on Ulica 7. Juli. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ulica Velebitska, then turn left. Follow this road until you reach the waterfront promenade, known as Riva. Walk along the promenade towards the northeast until you reach the main entrance to the Old Town Zadar, which is marked by the Land Gate (Kopnena Vrata). Once you pass through the gate, you are in the Old Town. Continue straight to Trg Svete Stošije, where you will find the main attractions.

    If you're at the Zadar Bus Station, exit the station and turn left onto Ulica Jure Gospodnetića. Walk straight until you reach the roundabout and take the first exit onto Ulica 4. Novembra. Continue walking until you reach the waterfront promenade, Riva. Turn right and follow the promenade northeast until you reach the Land Gate (Kopnena Vrata). Enter the Old Town and proceed to Trg Svete Stošije, the heart of the Old Town.

    From Zadar Airport, take the airport shuttle bus to the Zadar Bus Station. Once you arrive at the bus station, follow the walking directions provided above to reach Old Town Zadar. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the airport directly to the Old Town, which will drop you off near the Land Gate.

    If you have rented a bicycle in Zadar, start from your rental location and head towards the waterfront. Follow the biking paths that lead to Riva.
