Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Zadar's main bus station (Autobusni kolodvor Zadar), exit the station and head southeast on Ulica kralja Tomislava towards Ulica Ante Starčevića. After about 500 meters, turn right onto Ulica Ante Starčevića and continue straight until you reach the waterfront. From there, follow the Riva (waterfront promenade) towards the old town. Once you reach the old town, continue straight until you see the Forum, which is a large open area surrounded by historical buildings. The Roman Forum is located at the heart of this area.

Public Transport
If you are near the Zadar's main square (Narodni trg), you can take a local bus towards the Forum. Catch bus number 2 or number 8 from the nearby bus stop. Confirm with the local bus schedule for the next departure. Once you arrive at the stop closest to the Forum (it may be called 'Stari Grad' or similar), follow the signs leading to the Forum area. The Forum is only a short walk from there, and you will see it as you approach.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Zadar waterfront (Riva) and pedal towards the historic center. Follow the bike lanes along the waterfront, which will lead you directly to the old town. Once you reach the old town, park your bicycle at one of the designated bike racks and walk towards the Forum. The Forum is centrally located, and you will find it easily by following signs or asking locals for directions.
