Playa Grandi, also known as Playa Piskadó, is a unique beach on Curaçao's west coast, near Westpunt. It's famous for guaranteed snorkeling encounters with sea turtles drawn to the area by local fishermen. This isn't a pristine white-sand beach, but a lively, authentic spot where you can observe local life and swim with marine life.

Driving
From Willemstad, drive west on Weg Naar Westpunt. Continue past Christoffel and Shete Boka Parks. Shortly after Shete Boka, the road turns south through Westpunt, then east, dipping into a small ravine. At the bottom of the dip, a shaded road to your right leads directly to the beach. Parking is free but limited; arrive early or park along the shoulder. Consider combining your trip with a visit to nearby Grote Knip.

From Willemstad, take a bus towards Westpunt. Check local schedules for the most up-to-date information. The bus will drop you off near Westpunt; from there, follow the driving directions to Playa Grandi. Bus fare is approximately 2.50 ANG.
