Getting there

Walking

If you are in the central area of Ayia Napa, head towards the main road, which is known as Nissi Avenue. Walk south until you reach the intersection with Kryou Nerou Avenue. Turn left onto Kryou Nerou Avenue and continue straight. You will pass several hotels and restaurants along the way. Keep walking until you reach the beach at Nissi Beach, which is known for its vibrant atmosphere. To get to Protaras, continue walking along the coast. Follow the coastline path until you reach Protaras Beach. The total walking distance is approximately 5 kilometers and may take around 1 hour.

Public Transport (Bus)

From central Ayia Napa, locate the Ayia Napa bus station near the tourist information center. Take the bus heading towards Protaras, usually marked with a sign indicating 'Protaras.' Buses run frequently, typically every 20-30 minutes during peak season. The journey takes about 20 minutes. When you arrive in Protaras, get off at the main bus stop located near Fig Tree Bay, which is a popular area in Protaras. Make sure to check the bus schedule for return trips.

Taxi

You can easily find a taxi in central Ayia Napa. Look for the designated taxi stands or hail one on the street. Inform the driver that you want to go to Protaras. The ride typically takes about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Agree on a fare before starting your journey to avoid any misunderstandings. Taxis can be a more convenient option, especially if traveling in a group or with luggage.
