Car
From any point in Kokkinochoria (Red Soil Villages), head southeast on the main road (B3) towards the town of Agios Nikolaos. After about 10 kilometers, follow signs to the village of Pano Deftera. Continue driving for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach a junction. Turn left onto road E1, which will lead you towards the Troodos mountains. Follow this road for another 10 kilometers, then take a right turn onto Kokkinovouno Road. Continue on this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the base of Kokkinovouno. Note: Be sure to check local traffic regulations and road conditions before you travel. Parking is free at the designated area.

Public Transportation
Start at the main bus station in Kokkinochoria. Take bus route 160 towards Agios Nikolaos. The journey will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Agios Nikolaos, transfer to bus route 162 towards Pano Deftera. This leg of the journey will take approximately 20 minutes. After arriving in Pano Deftera, you will need to arrange for a taxi to take you the remaining distance to Kokkinovouno, as public transport does not go directly to the mountain. Expect taxi fares to be around €15-€20 for this trip. Ensure you have cash on hand, as not all taxis accept card payments.
