Driving
From Neo Chorio's center, head towards the Akamas Peninsula. Follow the main road leading out of the village; it will turn into a paved dirt track. Continue for approximately 2.5 km uphill to the Smigies picnic site, where the trail begins. Parking is available at the picnic site. Be aware that the road can be rough, so drive carefully. A standard rental car should be sufficient, but an ATV or 4x4 is not required under normal conditions.

If you are already in Neo Chorio, you can walk to the Smigies Nature Trail. From the village center, follow the road leading towards the Akamas Peninsula. The walk to the Smigies picnic site is approximately 2.5 km uphill and should take around 30-45 minutes. Follow the road until it turns into a dirt track and continue to the picnic site. Ensure you wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water.
