Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car from Nissi Beach, start by heading northwest on Nissi Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with Makronissou Avenue. Turn right onto Makronissou Avenue and follow it for about 1.5 kilometers. After that, you will see signs directing you to the Blue Lagoon. Keep an eye out for the parking lot on the right, which is your final stop. Be prepared to pay for parking, which typically costs around €3-€5 for the day.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Blue Lagoon via public transport, walk to the nearest bus stop along Nissi Avenue. Look for the bus that goes towards Ayia Napa and board it. The bus fare is approximately €1.50-€2.00. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop near the Ayia Napa Marina. From there, follow the pedestrian path that leads you along the coast. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk to the Blue Lagoon. Keep in mind that the buses may have limited schedules, especially during off-peak seasons.

• Taxi

  Another convenient option is to take a taxi from Nissi Beach directly to the Blue Lagoon. You can easily find taxis around the beach area. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes and cost around €15-€20. Ensure you confirm the fare before starting your journey, as prices may vary.

• Walking

  For the adventurous, if you feel up to it, you can walk from Nissi Beach to the Blue Lagoon. Head west along the coast, following the path that runs parallel to the beach. The scenic walk is about 3-4 kilometers and may take approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as parts of the route may not have shaded areas.
