Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Paphos, take bus 645 or 641 to Polis. From Coral Bay, take bus 648 to Polis. Then, transfer to bus 622 from Polis to the Akamas visitor information point near the Baths of Aphrodite. The 622 bus runs hourly between 6 am and 6 pm. A single bus fare is approximately €1.50. From the visitor center, a public jeepney service is available to explore the park.

  • Taxi/Ride-Share

    A taxi from Paphos to Akamas National Forest Park will cost approximately €40-€50 and take around 40 minutes. A taxi from Polis to the park entrance will cost around €20-€30 and take about 25 minutes. From Neo Chorio, a taxi to the park entrance costs around €10-€15. Be sure to negotiate the fare beforehand.

  • Driving

    From Paphos, take the A6 highway towards Polis, then turn onto the B7 road towards Neo Chorio. Follow signs to Akamas Peninsula. Parking is available at the park entrance and is generally free. Some parking areas may have a small fee of €2-€5. Note that roads within the park are unpaved and best suited for 4x4 vehicles.

    If you are already in Neo Chorio, you can walk to Akamas National Forest Park. Follow the signs from the village towards the park.
