Pafos Zoo, nestled in a lush, natural environment near Peyia, is the first and largest licensed zoo in Cyprus. Since opening in September 2003, it has become a leading tourist attraction, offering visitors a chance to connect with wildlife from across the globe.The zoo is home to over 1,200 animals representing more than 200 species, including mammals, birds, and reptiles. Among the notable residents are giraffes, monkeys, meerkats, crocodiles, kangaroos, and a variety of big cats such as white lions and Siberian tigers.
