Driving
From Neo Chorio, head southeast on the main road (28FM+J6C) towards the Akamas Peninsula. Continue for approximately 2.5km on the paved dirt track until you reach the Smigies picnic site and parking area. Parking is free. Be aware that rental car restrictions may apply to driving on unpaved roads.
Public Transport
Take a local bus from Latchi Beach to Neo Chorio. Check local schedules for the bus that operates between Latchi and Neo Chorio; the ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Neo Chorio, walk southeast on the main road for about 2.5 km to the Smigies picnic site and the start of the trail. Be aware that the bus service may not run frequently, so check the timetable ahead of time. A single bus fare will typically cost around €1.50-€2.50.
Taxi
From Latchi, a taxi to the Smigies Nature Trail will cost approximately €15-€20. The journey is around 5km and takes about 10 minutes. Taxis are readily available in Latchi, especially near the harbor.
