Discover the Enchanting Small Waterfall in Pano Platres

Getting There

• Walking

  Start your journey at the Troodos Square, which is a central point in Troodos. From there, head towards the main road leading to Pano Platres. Walk along the road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the sign for Pano Platres. Once you enter Pano Platres, continue straight on Olympou Street. After approximately 500 meters, you'll notice a sign for the Small Waterfall. Follow the path indicated by the sign, which will lead you through a short trail into the woods. The waterfall is located about 300 meters down the trail, and you will hear the sound of the water as you approach.

• Hiking

  If you prefer a more scenic route, you can take the hiking trails from Troodos to Pano Platres. Begin at the Troodos Visitor Center and follow the marked hiking trail towards Pano Platres. This trail winds through beautiful forest scenery and takes about 1 hour to reach Pano Platres. Once you arrive in Pano Platres, follow Olympou Street as described above to find the Small Waterfall.

• Public Transport and Walking

  For those looking to use public transport, catch a bus from Troodos to Pano Platres. Buses typically run every hour. Once you arrive in Pano Platres, disembark at the main stop. From there, walk along Olympou Street, following the directions mentioned earlier towards the Small Waterfall. It is a pleasant walk of around 1 kilometer from the bus stop.
