Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Český Krumlov, head towards the main square (Náměstí Svornosti). Once you reach the square, take the road leading to the east, which is called Kájovská Street. Continue straight on Kájovská Street for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading towards Srnín. At this intersection, turn left onto the road to Srnín. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers. You will pass by some beautiful rural landscapes and small houses. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Rozhledna Granátník. Eventually, you will see signs that indicate a path leading to the lookout tower. Follow this path, which is well-marked, for another 1 kilometer until you arrive at Rozhledna Granátník.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Český Krumlov and start your journey from the town center. Head towards the main square (Náměstí Svornosti) and take Kájovská Street. Continue on Kájovská Street for approximately 1.5 kilometers. When you reach the intersection with the road leading to Srnín, turn left. The cycling route is scenic and suitable for all levels. After about 2 kilometers, look for signs indicating the direction to Rozhledna Granátník. Follow these signs and take the marked cycling path leading to the tower. The final stretch is about 1 kilometer uphill, but it's a pleasant ride through the forested area.

• Public Transport

  If you prefer to use public transport, you can take a bus from the main bus station in Český Krumlov. Look for a bus heading towards Srnín. Buses run regularly, so check the schedule at the bus station. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Srnín, disembark at the stop closest to the village center. From there, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers following the signs towards Rozhledna Granátník. The walk is straightforward, and you will enjoy the surrounding countryside as you make your way to the lookout tower.
