Car
If you are driving from Špindlerův Mlýn, take the road E442 heading towards Liberec. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit toward Turnov (Exit 33). Continue on the road and follow signs for Valdštejn Castle, which is located just outside Turnov. The castle is approximately 2 kilometers from the exit, and you will see signs directing you to the parking area. The address is 511 22 Turnov 1.

Public Transportation
From Hradec Králové, take a train to Turnov. Trains run regularly throughout the day. Once you arrive in Turnov, exit the train station and look for bus number 6 or 8, which will take you directly to Valdštejn Castle. The bus stop for the castle is called 'Hrad Valdštejn'. The entire journey from Hradec Králové to the castle will take around 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on connections.

Walking
If you are staying in Turnov, you can reach Valdštejn Castle on foot. From the center of Turnov, walk towards the north along Masarykovo náměstí and continue straight on the road named U Staré Pošty. Follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will see signs for Valdštejn Castle on your right. The walk takes approximately 20 to 25 minutes.
