Getting There

Public Transport - Tram

From the city center, head to the nearest tram stop, 'Hlavní nádraží'. Take tram number 1 towards 'Karolina'. After 5 stops, get off at 'Slezská Ostrava'. Once you exit the tram, walk straight along 'Tyršova' street for about 15 minutes until you reach 'Michálkovická' street. Turn right onto 'Michálkovická', and you will see Ostrava Zoo on your left.
Public Transport - Bus

If you prefer to take a bus, go to the 'Hlavní nádraží' bus terminal in the city center. Take bus number 48 towards 'Slezská Ostrava'. Get off at the 'ZOO' stop. From the bus stop, walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the entrance of Ostrava Zoo located at 'Michálkovická 197'.
Walking

If you are near the city center, you can also walk to Ostrava Zoo. Start from the 'Masaryk Square', head northeast towards 'Sokolská'. Continue straight until you reach 'Tyršova', then turn right and follow the street. After about 30 minutes of walking, you will reach 'Michálkovická' street. Turn left and walk for a few more minutes to reach the zoo entrance.
