Walking
If you are in the city center, make your way to Wenceslas Square (Václavské náměstí). From the top of the square, head east towards the National Museum (Národní muzeum) and then continue along Vodickova street. Follow it until you reach the junction with Narodni street (Národní třída). Turn right onto Narodni street and walk until you reach the intersection with Alšovo nábř. The Jan Palach Memorial will be on your left along the riverbank.

Locate the nearest tram stop (you can find many in the city center). Take tram number 17 or 22 towards 'Národní divadlo' or 'Zborov' respectively. Get off at the 'Národní divadlo' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk towards the Vltava River. The Jan Palach Memorial is located on Alšovo nábř. along the riverside, just a short 5-minute walk from the tram stop.
