Getting There

  • Public Transport - Metro

    If you are starting from Wenceslas Square (Václavské náměstí), walk to the Můstek Metro Station. Take the Metro Line A (green line) towards Depo Hostivař. Ride for 2 stops and get off at Staroměstská Station. Exit the station and walk towards the Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí). From the square, head northeast towards the Vltava River, and you will find Karel IV in Josefov, which is only a 10-minute walk from the square.

    From the National Theatre (Národní divadlo) tram stop, take tram number 17 towards Bílá Hora. Ride for about 5 stops and get off at the Staroměstská stop. From there, walk northeast towards the Old Town Square and then continue to Josefov, where Karel IV is located. This should take approximately 10 minutes on foot.
