Getting there

Public Transport

To reach Ladronka Park via public transport, take tram 22 or 25 to the Vypich stop. From there, it's a short walk to the park entrance. A 30-minute ticket costs 30 CZK, while a 90-minute ticket costs 40 CZK. Tickets can be purchased at vending machines, via mobile app (PID Lítačka), or at newsstands. Be sure to validate your ticket upon entering the tram.

Taxi/Ride-Share

Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber and Bolt are readily available in Prague. A short taxi ride from the city center to Ladronka Park typically costs between 150-200 CZK. Note that the base fare for a taxi is around 60 CZK, with an additional 36 CZK per kilometer. Always ensure the taximeter is reset at the beginning of your journey.

Walking

If you are in the Břevnov or Vypich area, walking to Ladronka Park is a pleasant option. From Vypich, follow the path uphill towards the Ladronka farmstead. The walk takes approximately 10-15 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views as you approach the park.

Parking

If driving to Ladronka Park, parking is available on Tomanova Street, but it is limited and subject to parking zones. The area is designated as a purple zone, allowing visitors to park for a fee of 10 CZK per hour, with a daily maximum of 90 CZK. Be aware of residential parking restrictions and ensure you pay the required fee to avoid fines.

Ladronka Park, situated on a hill in Prague 6-Břevnov, boasts a rich history dating back to 1340 when Charles IV established a vineyard here. Over the centuries, it evolved from a farmstead owned by Italian Count de la Crone (whose name morphed into 'Ladronka') to a site occupied by squatters in the 1990s. After extensive renovations in the early 2000s, Ladronka re-emerged as a premier sports and recreation hub, officially opening in 2005.Today, Ladronka Park is known for its extensive network of paths, particularly the 4.6 km illuminated inline skating track, the longest in Prague. The park also features volleyball and beach volleyball courts, sports equipment rentals, and a gourmet restaurant and mini-brewery in the renovated Ladronka farmstead. Visitors can enjoy various activities year-round, from inline skating and cycling in the summer to cross-country skiing in the winter. The park provides a welcome escape from the city bustle, offering panoramic views and a lively atmosphere.Beyond sports, Ladronka hosts cultural events and festivals, such as Ladronkafest, adding to its appeal as a community gathering place. With its blend of history, recreation, and natural beauty, Ladronka Park offers something for everyone.
