Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Wenceslas Square, head east towards the National Museum, then take a left onto Václavské náměstí. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Na Příkopě street. Continue walking straight on Na Příkopě; it will turn into Celetná street. Follow Celetná until you reach the Old Town Square. Look for the iconic Astronomical Clock on the Old Town Hall building, which marks the entrance to the square.

  • Tram

    If you are near the Charles Bridge, walk to the nearest tram stop, 'Malostranské náměstí.' Take tram number 22 heading towards 'Nádraží Hostivař.' Get off at 'Staroměstská' stop. From the tram stop, walk towards the Old Town Square, which is a short 5-minute walk. Follow the signs directing you to 'Staroměstské náměstí' and you will reach the square.

    If you are near the metro, take Line A (Green) from any station. If you are starting from 'Můstek' station, take the train towards 'Depo Hostivař.' Get off at 'Staroměstská' station.
