Walking
From Old Town Square, walk east towards Celetná Street, a part of the Royal Route. Continue along Celetná Street until you reach Náměstí Republiky, where the Powder Gate is located. The walk is approximately 500 meters and takes about 10 minutes. Alternatively, from Charles Square (Karlovo náměstí) in New Town, walk east on Karlova Street towards the Vltava River. Turn left onto Národní Třída, continue to Wenceslas Square, and then turn right onto Na Příkopě Street. Follow Na Příkopě to Náměstí Republiky, where you'll find the Powder Gate. This longer walk takes about 20-30 minutes.

Take the Metro Line B (yellow line) to Náměstí Republiky station. Upon exiting the station, the Powder Gate is just a few steps away. Alternatively, take tram number 3, 5, 6, 8, 14, or 24 to the Náměstí Republiky stop. The Powder Gate is directly in front of the tram stop.
