Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Skagen train station, head northeast on Jernbanegade towards Sømærket. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Vestre Strandvej. Turn left onto Vestre Strandvej and walk towards the beach area. After approximately 1 km, you will reach the coast. Continue walking along the beach path towards the north. Follow the signs pointing to 'Grenen' which is the northernmost point of Denmark. The path will lead you through beautiful natural scenery. After about 3 km of walking along the beach, you will arrive at The Skaw, where the two seas meet.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Skagen. Start at the main square, and head north on Vestre Strandvej. Follow the road approximately 5 km until you see signs for Grenen. The route will take you along the coast, providing stunning views of the beach. Once you reach the end of the road, you will find a designated parking area for bicycles.
