If you are traveling by car, head towards the entrance of the Morne Trois Pitons National Park from the Boiling Lake area. You will find the park entrance located near the village of Trafalgar. After entering, continue driving along the park road until you reach the designated parking area for the Valley of Desolation. The hike to the Valley begins from this parking area.

For those using public transportation, look for a minibus that travels to Trafalgar. Minibuses depart from various points in Dominica, and you can catch one from Roseau or the nearby areas. Inform the driver that you are heading to the Morne Trois Pitons National Park. The fare is usually around $2-3 USD. Once you arrive at Trafalgar, you will need to walk to the entrance of the park, which is about a 15-20 minute walk.
