Getting There

• Car

  If you have a rental car, start from the main road in Indian River. Head southeast on the main road towards the village of Savanne Paille. Continue driving for approximately 15 minutes. When you reach the intersection at Savanne Paille, you will see a sign for Fau Valley Canyon. Turn left onto the unpaved road that leads to the canyon. • Public Transportation

  To reach Fau Valley Canyon via public transportation, you can catch a local bus from Indian River towards Savanne Paille. Buses typically run every hour. Inform the driver that you want to go to Fau Valley Canyon, and they will drop you off at the closest point to the canyon entrance. From there, you may need to walk approximately 10 minutes along the dirt path towards the canyon. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as services may vary.

• Walking

  If you are staying close to the Indian River area and prefer to walk, you can follow the main road southeast towards Savanne Paille. It is about a 1.5-mile walk that takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you reach Savanne Paille, look for the sign for Fau Valley Canyon and take the unpaved road that leads to the canyon. The walk provides beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
