Nestled in Dominica's verdant interior, near the villages of Pont Cassé and Belles, Spanny Falls offers a tranquil escape into the island's rich biodiversity. Also known as Penrice Falls, this hidden gem is easily accessible via the Dr. Nicholas Liverpool Highway. The journey begins at Spanny's Shop-N-Waterfall, where a small entrance fee supports trail maintenance and environmental preservation. The well-maintained path meanders through a lush rainforest, showcasing towering Gommier trees, delicate ferns, and vibrant orchids. The hike to the first waterfall is a short, easy 10-15 minute walk. A slightly more challenging path leads to the second, more secluded cascade.
