Getting There

• Walking

  Start from the center of Roseau at the Old Market Square. Head north on King George V Street until you reach the intersection with Great Marlborough Street. Turn left onto Great Marlborough Street and continue straight. After a short walk, you will reach the waterfront. From there, follow the coast heading northwest toward the Edward Oliver Leblanc Highway. You will need to walk along the side of the highway. Continue until you see signs for Mero. The walk will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour, so wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.

• Bus

  From the center of Roseau, head to the main bus terminal located on the Bayfront. Look for a bus heading towards Mero; these are usually marked with a sign on the windshield. The fare is generally inexpensive, and buses leave frequently. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Mero Beach stop or the nearest drop-off point, follow the signs to the beach, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a taxi from any point in Roseau. You can find taxis waiting near the Old Market Square or you can call one from your accommodation. Make sure to confirm the fare before departing. The taxi ride to Mero Beach typically takes around 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the driver to take you to the Edward Oliver Leblanc Highway, and they will drop you off close to the beach entrance.
