Getting There

• Public Bus

  To get to Caribbean Lake Park from the Punta Cana area using public transportation, you can take a public bus (guagua) from the main bus terminal. Head to the Punta Cana Bus Terminal located near the intersection of Av. Barcelo and Av. Alemania. Once there, look for a bus heading towards Higuey or Bavaro. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at Downtown Punta Cana. After approximately 30 minutes, ask the driver to let you know when you reach Downtown Punta Cana. Once you arrive, you will need to walk to Caribbean Lake Park, which is located at the end of Downtown on Las Mercedes street. The park is a short 10-minute walk straight down the road.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your accommodation in Punta Cana. Simply ask your hotel or resort to call a local taxi service for you. Once in the taxi, provide the driver with the address: 'Al final de Downtown, Las Mercedes, Punta Cana 23000.' The taxi ride should take around 15 to 25 minutes, depending on your starting location and traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare beforehand or ask for the meter to be used.

• Shared Shuttle

  Another option is to book a shared shuttle service to Caribbean Lake Park. Various tour companies offer shuttle services that can be arranged through your hotel. Provide them with the address: 'Al final de Downtown, Las Mercedes, Punta Cana 23000.' The shuttle will pick you up from your hotel and drop you off directly at the park. This is a great option if you are traveling in a group, as costs can be shared. The journey may take 20 to 30 minutes depending on the number of stops.
